Santiago does not have a hot climate. It has a mild Mediterranean climate, similar to the Pacific Northwest, Adriatic coast, and southern Australia. The average summer highs are in the low 80's. Solar heat build-up must be crazy inside, no? Please don't tell me they just air-condition the F out of it -surely we architects have stoped doing stuff like that.
