nice looking shoes… sure it would be good until you get dirt or water leaking in through the gaps in the material. The thing is – even if soles on normal shoes ARE damaged, you can still get them repaired. Quite easily. I would question the benefit of having three separate items manufactured and stored individually, as opposed to having shoes assembled in one place and shipped as one item.

I love this idea and the theme of sustainability. It kind of reminds me of repurposing where companies are taking junk and turning it into cutting edge design or fashion. In this economy, it will be a winner.
