These leafy cable ties by Korean designers Lufdesign might be mistaken for plants.

Made from plastic, the Leaf Tie Cable Organisers each have one or two leaves sprouting from their ends.

As well as green, the ties are also available in less realistic colours including red and blue.

Check out Richard Hutten's leafy fridge magnets in our story from 2008.

Here’s a few more words from online seller JetPens:
The Leaf tie cable organizers are a perfect way to add a little nature to your electronic environment.

The zip ties have one or two plastic leaves on the end, making your cord bundles look like branches and giving your cable organization a "green" look.

Let any of the six available colors bring the outside in to your workspace.

are they made from recycled plastic or any other green material?
heart warming :)
So, twice as much plastic used here than for normal zip ties… nice but not as green as it looks…
For a product that claims (by its very symbolism) to be green… this is not. It uses double the plastic to do the same job as any other zip tie. How contradictory!!
Maybe if they were devil horns instead of a leaf and the implied message was 'screw the environment"…. that would make more sense.
I bet you will think twice before you use them, because of their price, so they are greener than you think! Love them!
Pretty!
poetic and delicate.
Would love to see this made with a starch-based bioplastic, THAT would give the cable organization system a truly green feel! (Or even recycled)
Design for MAGIS by Denis Pellerin has already been done, like this.
