Around 750 exhibitors will show new furniture, homeware and lighting at the Stockholmsmässan fairground with over 60 satellite events taking place around the city.

This year's guest of honour is French designer Inga Sempé, as reported in Dezeen Wire, and she'll create a lounge at the entrance to the fair.

Young designer Fredrik Färg will install a bar called Beyond Couture featuring icebergs, stone, animals and textiles, while this year's Design Bar based on circles will be fashioned by Lina Nordqvist.

Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair offers, as per tradition, a jam-packed fair with around 750 exhibitors (80 per cent of them from Scandinavia) revealing their latest products. The halls are full to bursting point with the latest innovations within interior design and lighting for both homes and public spaces. New products, new materials, new knowledge, new trends, new business, new contacts and new environmental and technological solutions. The inspirational exhibitions are of the highest rate and the seminar programme extensive. Get ready for five intensive days filled with new products, business, knowledge, trends and inspiration!

Around 40,000 purchasers, architects, designers and journalists from more than fifty countries visit Stockholmsmässan every year in February for Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair, the world’s largest meeting place for Scandinavian design.
