This is total neglect of function and the striving to achieve a pleasant environment . Its unusable spaces with light and ventilation sacrificed at the altar of achieving a sculptural form in total contrast to its surroundings. The homogenous peaceful beauty of the netherlands compromised by a sculptural form whose main beneficiary is the architect himself because it attracts attention to his work which refuses to lie low and respect its surroundings like any other chaotic city with each person trying to" shout out "louder in a bid to get noticed.

What's wrong with straight lines? They're so functional and much cheaper.

the architect is bound in his own language. he liked to point out the huge windows on the living area levels, but at the same time the other floor with the master bedroom/bathroom is not working quite well. you will feel inside these spaces like in an old stone tower of a city wall, but is this right? the problem: the narrow window stripes and and the circular shaped bedrooms.
