It completely turns its back on the public realm and doesn't give the neigbourhood anything. Maybe that is the charm of Shoreditch...that you have to explore inside the spaces of clubs, galleries and cafes (?). Get to know the place. But this is just a house.... we are never going to be invited in. It's just a two fingered salute to indiviualism. I've tried to like this design.... I even lived right next to it for a couple of years. Imagine a city where every building was this cold and shallow..... no thanks! BTW....
