Maybe in just a few decades it might be possible to coach a polyp-type organism into growing according to a pre-programmed scaffolding matrix, allowing us to build not just the exterior surface, but the entire object using bio-materials --think of it as "intelligent coral" :) I can think another type of 'stools' that are also 100% bio-degradable ;)
