Loose the faux 'distressed' surfaces for a start, get your colour palette a bit more cohesive, find some decent fonts and pick a specific period in history to riff off other than 'anything from industrial revolution up until last autumn' this is the architectural equivalent of when you go into a shop and theres those jeans you get with the holes already worn in, plus they have been bleached/stonewashed/ then given that coffeedye treatment, then some tastefull screenprinting on it, then some embroidery and a retro label on the waist. Id just like a basic pair of well constructed jeans please, Ill wear them in myself..... woha! far too many conflicting things going on, clashing both visually and intellectually, and not in a 'this hurts so good' sort of way either..
