Five years ago...

Five years ago this week Herzog & de Meuron received planning permission for their extension to the Tate Modern gallery in London and construction began on Jean Nouvel's 100 11th Avenue development in New York.

We published images showing the construction of Zaha Hadid's MAXXI museum in Rome, which went on to win the 2010 Stirling Prize, as well as new photos of Steven Holl's extension to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City.

Ahead of the Milan furniture fair, Tom Dixon sent us renders of his new furniture, Ross Lovegrove updated us on the products he would be presenting and Zaha Hadid designed a set of huge organic vases for Serralunga.
