The chair is not upholstered in leather, it is upholstered in a special outdoor material, created to be used on yacts or sailing boats, named Shark and produced by JAB. The lamps are designed for outdoor use and they feature all the technical requirements for that kind of use. The Noir-esque image of the collection also suggest the concept - designs are intended to be used in environments, where it never gets really hot or too sunny, we see them on the outskitrts of alpine lakes and in deep shadows of mediterranean woods with absolutely no trace of sun bathing opportunities.

With all respect for the designer, but making a collection called Summer Time, featuring black leather chairs and metal frames, it seems like they don't have the idea of what summer really is. Try to leave them outdoors for 1 hour and you wont be able to touch any of the furniture because of the heat...Then, why do we have to believe this furniture is designed for outdoors and not for indoors? What's the difference that the designer makes through means of design? It seems to me that it's only the text telling us that it's outdoor furniture, not the design itself.
