I have an asphalt roof. In the summer my chair legs sink into it. These chairs would be perfect because they would plug the damage.

I know that the purpose of school projects is to LEARN but maybe this application of asphalt isn't that great.
Have you ever sat on the blacktop as a kid on a hot summer day? The asphalt leaves nasty brown stains on bare skin. Maybe this is different but the association still sticks with me.
