I'm surprised such a busy and important man such as Mr. Foster has the time to produce such a deep and thought-provoking piece of work... But it's okay, because he's also provided us with exhibitions of two of his buildings that HAVE public space incorporated into them! I could've sworn that Mr. Chipperfield said that contributors weren't allowed to "send their project in a box". Whilst both projects are loosely contextualised by the fact that they have "communal space" incorporated into the design, there is a whiff somewhat of posturing and self-promotion and I can't really see how much they bring to the discussion other than "look, people like to gather at the bottom of the tower" and "look at the pretty roof garden on top of the airport terminal". How much does your PR department weigh, Mr. Foster?
