Perhaps some background info on the actual usage of the home owners. They are avid art enthusiasts who allow artists and designers to hold small-scale exhibitions on the ground, mezzanine and 2nd level (which on other occasions are used as entertaining guests), hence the gallery-like circulation space existing within a linear property. In general, this is a home concept not suitable for all but has done well in meeting the needs of the home owners.

I don't get it. How can you guys look at this and complain about excessive circulation? It's excessive, but that's the point surely.

Why is it only ever the 'haters' that post comments? Nice project, clever ideas, well done. See that wasn't hard. Now you try.

Capitilizing on the brickwork just makes the space depressing after a while. Some foliage or indoor trees/plants would have made a difference.

Honestly... are you going to enjoy swimming in a pool like this? Watching the huge brick wall 3 meters in the distance?! And the guests entering will have to run over a wet floor if you decide to take a swim? Mmmm...
