Following two collaborations with designer Yves Béhar, San Francisco designer sex toy brand Jimmyjane has launched a travel-friendly vibrator, which comes with a lock to avoid accidental activation inside a suitcase.

The Form 6 G3 vibrator has a universal power adapter and can be recharged by resting it on the accompanying charging base. The lithium ion battery will run for over six hours on a single charge.

It's made from medical grade silicone and is waterproof and washable. "We cut no corners in creating our products," said Ethan Imboden, founder of Jimmyjane. "When a part looks like steel, it is steel, never chromed plastic."

We previously reported on two earlier products in the range, created for Jimmyjane by San Francisco designer Yves Béhar – a vibrator with two independently-powered tips and another made from waterproof flexible silicone.

Earlier this year, we reported that designer sex toys had been enjoying record sales following the success of Fifty Shades of Grey, the bestselling erotic novel by EL James.

We've also featured an online boutique where customers can design their own bespoke sex toys and a table lamp with a vibrator stowed in its side.

Surely every vibrator is travel friendly once you take the batteries out?
In the event of a dildo, we have to use the indefinite article: “a dildo”, never “your dildo” -airport security guy.
If they could only sort out a better battery, one could turn it on, stick it inside and go to work helping pass an eight hour day a lot quicker.
If you need eight hours of a vibrator inside you, you’re broken.

Who created and who recreated this elegant form? ;p

The cavity search security definitely wasn’t expecting.
Form phallus function!
I love it! I’ll take two.
The best dildo to travel with is probably 16 inches long, leather, and covered with spikes and studs. With attachments. Placed front and center in your baggage. Airport security will not want to touch it and will probably hurry you through the rest of the process.
