The interior photographs beautifully and I'm sure it's impressive to be in as a people space, but it feels as though the architect was more involved with designing a 'successful' architectural statement rather than designing a space to successfully serve its purpose. The structure (as nice as it is) visually intrudes upon the 2D art (if there was a place to hang the 2D work it would intrude). I must say that perhaps the photos don't show hanging space or perhaps the architect was thinking of art as being in 3D only.

This is an absolutely evil building. Costly to make, aggresive for the eyes and makes a mockery of the art. Just look at the way paintings are showcased in image seven. They are hung on a tilted wall so you can't perceive them correctly.

Another ivory tower. How about its civic function as a place to exhibit art?
