There are two types of people: administration and creatives. There is only one way to create more work - that is by being creative - but administration does not like them because you can not administrate creatives.

We must fight to keep the arts in our curriculum. Our future depends on innovation and creativity. Indeed this country has become more and more reliant on our "creative capital" as we have seen commercial and industrial decline in the new digital age. The plans to drop design and arts from the EBacc is economic and social suicide.

Stifling vision, creative thought and expression, entrepreneurship, the ability to bring dreams to life through art, technology and design, an alternative view to the mainstream, in short, our future, is just pure madness. I am ashamed to be ruled by a government who would think that this is the way forward. This year was the year to inspire a generation and now they want to take that away from those who were inspired and wish to manifest this through creativity.

The heart and soul will be ripped out of Britain if our youth do not have the same creative opportunities we had, and after all, isn't this what has made out nation so great up until now?! This side of Britain has put us on the global map with international recognition and critical acclaim in this field. To deny our future is to deny Britain life!

Put simply this is madness. An area of important business and cultural activity that the UK excels at must not be discarded. This is such short-term thinking.
