		<description>I&#039;m confused why a Japanese architect would apply the golden ratio in the first place. That the golden ratio is somehow inately beautiful or more natural is dubious, especially in a non-European country where its value has had less time to be culturally constructed.   </description>

		<description>Amazingly, this Japanese-designed house does have handrails, at least. But then, for such a small residence, a great deal of space is wasted with unusable areas constricted by acute angles. Then, the entry hall looks right into the ground floor bedroom. What kind of people live in these places?   </description>
