World Design Guide: London Design Festival map 2013

Following the success of our digital map-based guides to London Design Festival 2012 and Milan Design Week 2013, we're creating an even better version for this year's LDF - so if you're exhibiting or organising an event and want to be included FREE, submit the details here!

The map will be published on Dezeen just before the festival, which takes place across London from 14 to 22 September. This year we're integrating it with our World Design Guide - the world's first and only guide to all the best architecture and design events around the world.

Last year's map of London Design Festival was an astonishing success. It has been viewed over 800,000 times, making it by far the most popular guide to festival events.

To be considered for FREE inclusion in our guide, please submit details of your event using the forms here. If you have any questions or issues please email with "London Design Festival 2013" in the subject line.

  • Seriously, the London Design Festival deputy director Max Fraser comes accross as culturaly insensitive with his comments like “you can’t flag down a taxi”. Of course you can’t. It’s not London or New York, it’s simply a cultural fact that you go to a taxi stand in Italy!

“The subway is difficult to navigate” – No it’s not, it’s one of the most straightforward subways in the world, and on par with the London Tube.

The confusion he refers to is the beauty of the Salone, that the entire city is involved, it is as open to the public and the visitor as it is to the professional, something that fashion weeks around the world have yet to embrace.
