Luminaire Lab will be hosting a special reception from 6-8pm on October 8th, 2013 to celebrate the life and work of Poul Kjærholm with a curated collection.
We look forward to sharing an evening with our distinguished customers, staff and partners, discussing the pieces, and learning all about Poul Kjærholm's designs.
Born in Øster Vrå, Denmark, the renowned designer, architect and educator helped shape the perception of Danish design, and in the process, left a large imprint in the design world.
His meticulous, methodical, and logical approach to design gave way to the highly sought feeling of exclusivity and mindfulness.
The items selected for the event represent this philosophy, and include iconic pieces such as the PK22 Lounge Chair as well as unique, lesser-known work such as the PK54 Table and PK9 Chair.
We invite everyone to come experience the selection of Mr. Kjærholm's work for our limited engagement. Each piece was especially selected to represent a part of Mr. Kjærholm's illustrious career.
