Dezeen Watch Store: a new watch created by Industrial Facility that is inspired by the design of beer bottles is now on sale at Dezeen Watch Store.

Bottle was designed by the London-based studio Industrial Facility for Italian accessories company Nava, and features a concave glass lens that is modelled on the base of an everyday drinks bottle.

Instead of a bezel, the watch has sixty raised markers moulded into the tinted glass to indicate the minutes.

The watch is available is four colours, which are named after the drinks bottles that inspired them: Wine Green, Brown Beer, Clear Spirit and Blue Water.

"I had noticed that the nodules found on the bottom of bottles added up to 60, so it seemed reasonable to adopt this piece of knowledge to the lens of a watch," explains Industrial Facility designer Sam Hecht in an interview with Dezeen Watch Store.

"It was no more than that, a graphic folly that intrigued me."
