Dezeen's #milanogram2015 highlights: day four

Milan 2015: close-up details, architectural facades and textile surfaces are increasingly popping up in our #milanogram2015 Instagram hashtag, as visitors seek out creative new ways of presenting exhibitions and products.

The decorative ropes hanging beneath Patricia Urquiola's Swing Chair for Louis Vuitton were captured in exquisite detail by one photographer (main image), and proved to be an instant hit when posted to Dezeen's account.

Lots of people ventured to Moooi's exhibition space to photograph images of Marcel Wanders' carpet featuring a photo-realistic floral design, as well as a patterned rug designed for the Dutch brand by Bertjan Pot

Dezeen's team on the ground in Milan also got involved in the close-up action. Wai Shin Li, our head of sales and marketing, snapped Snarkitecture's installation for COS, which is made of 100,000 metres of translucent white fabric.

Dezeen editor Anna Winston photographed the interlocking wooden elements that form the facade of the Japanese pavilion at the Milan World Expo site. The image is currently one of the most popular examples on our feed

Other popular detail images posted today included one depicting Paola Lenti's Chain textile and a close-up of Memphis design showcased at Kartell's tribute to Sottsass.
