Photographer Luke Hayes has sent us a selection of photos of the MAXXI_National Museum of the XXI Century Arts in Rome by architect Zaha Hadid.

The 27,000 square metre centre is Italy&#8217;s first national public museum of comtemporary arts and features two museums &#8211; MAXXI Art and MAXXI Architecture.

Zaha Hadid Architects have designed a high-rise building for the center of Bucharest, Romania, which has a structural, lattice façade.

It will contain a five star hotel, a business centre, a casino, retail areas, apartments and underground parking.

Construction is expected to be completed in 2013.

Zaha Hadid Architects have built an installation at Manchester Art Gallery to house performances of music by Baroque composer Johann Sebastian Bach. 

A translucent, fabric membrane stretched over a steel structure suspended from the ceiling divides and encloses the space, creating a stage, enclosure for the audience and passages into and out of the auditorium.

Zaha Hadid Architects have won a competition to design Cairo Expo City in Cairo, Egypt.

The topography of the Nile valley is the inspiration behind the project&#8217;s fluid forms.

The project, located between the city centre and the airport, will provide a campus for exhibitions and conferences.

Zaha Hadid Architects have unveiled plans for an office and retail development called The Stone Towers in Cairo, Egypt. 

Inspired by the patterns and textures of ancient Egyptian stonework, the north and south facades of each tower will be covered with recesses and protrusions emphasising the effects of light and shadow on the surfaces.
