Cologne 09: American designer Stephen Burks of Readymade Projects created Composite Lounge  at furniture fair IMM Cologne last month, using reconfigured furniture from Italian manufacturers Moroso.

Cologne 09: Cordula is a floor lamp by Berlin designer Stephanie Jasny.

The lamp has 10 metres of cable, allowing it to by positioned at a distance from the power socket.  Excess cable can be wound around the lamp during use.

According to Jasny, the project takes inspiration from objects found on construction sites.

Cologne 09: manufacturers Arco launched a collection of office furniture by Dutch designer Bertjan Pot at Design Post in Cologne, Germany, yesterday.

Called Slim Office, the range is an adaptation of Pot&#8217;s Slim table design, made from oak veneer on steel.

Accessories are attached with magnets and include a drawer, pen holders and privacy panel.
