Designer Konstantin Grcic has designed a series of tables with extruded-aluminium tops for BD Barcelona Design.

Available in lengths up to 3.6 metres and with metal, concrete or wooden legs, the table is the first piece in a collection called Extrusion designed by Grcic for the Spanish brand.

London designer Ross Lovegrove has designed three lights for Italian brand Artemide.

Cosmic Angel (above) is an undulating form derived from air rippling across fabric, which can be lit from above or below.

The surface of the wall-mounted version (above and below) is covered in LEDs, allowing the colour of light emitted to be altered.

The basin can be wall-mounted or supported by a base under one side.

The wall-mounted taps shown are called Wings, designed for Boffi by Italian designer Mario Tessarollo.

American designer Paul Loebach has created a series of three saggy-looking vases made of solid wood.

The vases are CNC machined from solid maple in two halves and then joined.

The project was presented at Spazio Rossana Orlandi in Milan earlier this year.
