Stockholm Design Week:  Swedish designers Smånsk showed a prototype of their Skew bookcase at the Greenhouse young designers showcase at the Stockholm Furniture Fair last month.  

The bookcase consists of identical modular components that are stacked facing alternate directions to create sloping shelves.

Smånsk are currently seeking an appropriate manufacturer for the design.

Stockholm Design Week:  Swedish designers Claesson Koivisto Rune have designed a range of bracelets made of sliced extruded aluminium for jewellery brand Collection Pascale.  

Called Eve and launched during Stockholm Design Week last month, the bracelets are made by twisting aluminium as it leaves the die and slicing the extrusion irregularly.

Stockholm Design Week:  Norwegian lighting company Luxo has launched the Ninety Light by American designer Shawn Littrell, which they claim is the world&#8217;s most efficient task light.  

Unveiled at Stockholm Furniture Fair earlier this month, the lamp uses 4 LEDs, consumes just 6 watts and is designed to last 25 years.
