Japanese designers Nendo have completed a store in Tokyo for fashion designer Issey Miyake.

Called 24 Issey Miyake, the shop is inspired by Japanese convenience stores.

Each design is available in twenty colours and the store will completely change its stock every two months.

French designer Patrick Nadeau has created an installation for Italian brand Boffi, consisting of hanging domes covered in living plants.

Called Rainforest, the installation comprises a series of Corian frames held together with cable ties.

A type of hanging Spanish moss called Tillandsias usneoïdes, which doesn&#8217;t need soil, is draped over these frames.

Melbourne architects March Studio have hung 30 km of coconut-husk string from the ceiling of a new shop in Singapore for Australian skincare brand Aesop.

Designed in collaboration with Aesop director Dennis Paphitis, the interior was inspired by the twine used to tie the company&#8217;s gift boxes.

The design also features cupboards made of marine plywood.

London practice Amanda Levete Architects were awarded the Interiors and Fit-Out Prize at the World Architecture Festival in Barcelona last week for their Corian Super-Surfaces Showroom in Milan.

Paris designer Patrick Norguet has refurbished the interior of a hotel in Lyon, France, inspired by the history of silk production in the local area.

Designed for the Sofitel Lyon Bellecour, the project includes a spa, entrance hall, brasserie, restaurants and bars for the five-star hotel.
