Competition: we're collaborating with the authors of WRAP, an illustration magazine designed to be reused as giftwrap after reading, to give our readers the chance to win one of five copies of their new fourth issue. 

Congratulations to the winners! Nadine Graham in the UK, Pablo Mateu Andújar in Spain, Andre Soares Haidar in Brazil, Sophie Middleton in the UK and Diego Alberto Rico Aguilera in Mexico all won a copy of WRAP magazine issue four.

This issue focusses on North America and features work by ten illustrators plus interviews and features.

The illustrations on one side of each double spread mean the whole publication can be used as wrapping paper once read.

Be ‘QUICK ON THE DRAW’ – it’s issue four!

North America is the theme for this Spring edition of Wrap, the magazine where every sheet can be whipped out once read and reused as wrapping paper thanks to the original prints on the reverse side of each.

We hunt high and low for brilliant illustrators who design prints to our theme, and we’re very proud to present the work of ten more talented individuals – six from the US and Canada, and four from further afield. All have captured something of what this vast continent means to them.

As well as the ten pull-out sheets, plus their corresponding note- cards and interviews with each designer, Wrap issue four is packed with features exploring creativity and design in North America, including:

Wrap is proud to be offering 100 special edition copies of issue four featuring hand-pulled screen printed covers by Primitive Press, in collaboration with founder Louis Vincent. New subscription service

For the first time in its young life Wrap is offering a subscription service. Sign up and receive all three issues in 2012 (March, June and October) at 20% OFF our normal cover price.

As well as this, the first 150 to sign up will also receive a set of three specially made tags by Blackbird Letterpress in Louisiana and a tote bag printed with our issue four 'read Wrap, wrap Wrap' raccoons.

Wrap is a large format illustration and design magazine that launched in 2010. Held together in a hard cover with a large elastic band, each page has a print on the reverse and is easily pulled out and re-used to wrap gifts. We publish work by talented up-and-coming and established artists from all over the world. Dezeen Platform: WRAP magazine launch their latest issue and two new product ranges at Dezeen Platform at Dezeen Space today. Watch a movie about this project here.

Wrap is a large-format illustration and design magazine with no staples or stitching so that each sheet can be reused as wrapping paper once it has been read.

The theme for the new issue is 'dark days, bright nights.'

There is a limited 2000 copy print run, all hand-numbered.

Issue three contains 9 double page illustrations and a perforated back cover that can be turned into notecards.

Wrap will also be launching two new products at Dezeen Space today: Tape Shapes and Wrap Packs.

Tape Shapes are vinyl stickers to be used as an alternative to sticky tape.

Wrap Packs contain a range of materials designed by previous Wrap magazine designers for wrapping presents.

Wrap magazine, Tape Shapes and Wrap Packs are available to purchase at Dezeen Space.

WRAP retails at £9.50 and delivery is half price until the end of June.

Wrap is a new design and illustration magazine with a difference - each sheet of Wrap can be re-used as wrapping paper. Set up last Autumn by London designers Christopher Harrison and Polly Glass to showcase work by talented artists, it is printed on 100% recycled paper using vegetable based inks, and is available to buy online and in top UK design stores including Magma, Beyond the Valley, Mint, The Design Museum, Drink,Shop&Do, and Wolf&Badger.

Wrap are very pleased to announce the release of their second issue

With the theme of ‘Animals & Creatures’, issue two features work by an exceptional group of contributors from all over the world including L.A. based Patrick Hruby, Milan collective Carnovsky (who have created the colourful cover art) and London based Thereza Rowe.

As well as endeavouring to broaden all their interviews with contributing artists, Wrap have also added some new features to their second issue. These include talking to UK print designer Lisa Stickley, Japanese jewellery designer Momo Tamura about her brand Momocreatura, and one of their new regular features, an illustrated Day in the Life - in this issue by the quirky and cat obsessed freelance illustrator Gemma Correll.

Wrap have also altered their format a little since issue one, so it is now bigger (approx.A3) than before with a harder cover. The back cover has been perforated so it can become a set of eight notecards to match all the prints inside and all the sheets are only folded over once, so they're kept as neat and flat as possible, ready for when they’re pulled out and used to wrap up a present!

Being environmentally conscious, Wrap is printed on 100% recycled paper and using vegetable-based inks.

Wrap was co-founded and launched by Christopher Harrison and Polly Glass in Autumn 2010 during the London Design Festival. Their aim is to develop and produce a really exciting and appealing publication that showcases and promotes the work of talented creative people (both up-and-coming, and established) and one that bridges the gap between being a magazine and a product. They wanted to make something that could both be looked at and read, but that the consumer could also enjoy using.

Congratulations to the winners! Tim Bastian in France, Amanda Li in New York, Marianna Pedersen in Denmark, Christoph Blanc in Germany and Santi Savasta in Italy all won copies of WRAP issue two.
