Place de la République was transformed into Paris' largest pedestrian square by TVK, which added a new cafe pavilion, water features and over 150 trees, while Snøhetta finished the first phase of its Times Square redevelopment that will eventually see vehicles completely removed from the area.

Also in New York, MoMA confirmed it will be demolishing the American Folk Art Museum next door to make way for an extension to the contemporary art institution.
