Instrmnt launches second exclusive watch collaboration with Dezeen
Glasgow-based brand Instrmnt has launched its second limited-edition timepiece in collaboration with Dezeen, which is now available to buy from Dezeen Watch Store.
The 02-DZN is a limited-edition timepiece, created as part of the ongoing partnership between Instrmnt and Dezeen.

The watch features a gold 35-millimetre-wide face with bespoke engraving, paired with a black German-leather strap – a colour combination unique to the range.
"I think gold is quietly becoming the Instrmnt x Dezeen colour. We chose it last year as we thought it had a classic yet contemporary finish that would appeal to Dezeen's design and architecture-led audience," explained co-founder Ross Baynham.
"As minimalists, we chose to simplify and refine the design even further than we did last year."

Like the other watches in Instrmnt's 02 collection, the 02-DZN has a slim, lug-less silhouette and carries a newly engineered Swiss Ronda movement.
The unisex timepiece takes inspiration from mid 20th-century industrial design, pairing high quality Swiss components with a pared-back, utilitarian aesthetic.
It comes as a kit containing the casing, pins and strap, which can be assembled using the tools provided.

Dezeen previously collaborated with Instrmnt on a blue and gold watch when the brand first launched the now-iconic 01 collection, and has stocked the brand's watches since it launched in 2014.
"Dezeen has supported us from the early inception of our brand. Not only that, but we have very similar ideas on what good design is," said Baynham.

Both self-confessed watch fanatics, Baynham and Pete Sunderland met while studying at Glasgow Caledonian University, and set out to design a watch they would want to wear themselves.
"We thought, 'we're designers, we love watches, why don’t we make the watch that we want to wear? Why don't we make the watch that is perfect for us?'" Baynham said in an interview with Dezeen in 2014.
The watches will be stocked exclusively at Dezeen Watch Store and on Instrmnt's website.
