This regional centre for drone companies and business in the southern suburbs of Paris was created in a former military airbase.

The project is intended to be evolutionary, and combines offices, workshops and an event location as well as a covered flight area for testing and demonstrating drones. It is embedded in the urban conversion project of the former military air base 217 in Brétigny-sur-Orge and constitutes one of the first components of this vast development.

Sitting atop a concrete base, metal structure partition walls and intermediate levels differentiate large areas. Within this structure, former shipping containers have been transformed and equipped according to their new use, and are installed on three levels to provide a higher levelof  comfort set into smaller interconnected spaces such as open-access corridors. On the southeast facade offices are built in a light metal structure and open out to triple-height volume, offering a collective space where events can take place.

This project has been longlisted in the business building category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
