KLC School of Design's The Interior Design Short Course: Process, Planning, Presentation and Projects focuses on the fundamentals of designing for residential interiors.
The course covers subjects such as the design process, colour, using fabrics and trimmings, lighting, space planning to scale, soft furnishings, developing a concept, sourcing, presentation boards and managing a residential project.
The course culminates in producing a professional quality concept board and sample board for a room in your own home or for a KLC-provided client.
This course can be taken as a five-day full-time course or a part-time course one day a week over eight weeks.
The course is suitable for any person who wants to gain fundamental knowledge and skills for their own personal design projects, anyone with an interest in design looking to broaden their knowledge and have an enjoyable experience, as well as anybody thinking about entering the industry via one of KLC's renowned qualification courses.
