Established in 1999, the annual IDS Toronto fair showcases designers and brand from Canada and beyond at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

The 2020 edition of the fair, which is the largest in Canada, promises to bring together "53,000 of the world's leading products, companies and change-makers". San Franciso designer Yves Behar is this year's International Guest of Honour.

The two-day IDS Conference takes place alongside the fair. Dezeen is media partner for IDS Toronto, and Dezeen's US editor Eleanor Gibson will moderate a series of conversations with designer Ini Archibong, Bethan Laura Wood and architect Frida Escobedo on Thursday 16 January.
