HAYON VASE COLLECTION FOR BISAZZA HOME

For the London Design Festival 2007, luxury Italian mosaic specialists Bisazza will showcase an exclusive collection of hand crafted vases designed by Jaime Hayon for Bisazza Home.

This collection is part of Pixel Ballet, Hayon’s installation first presented in April at the Salone del Mobile in Milano, which includes a number of furniture pieces and objects, each enriched with mosaic.

With this exhibition, Hayon experiments with mosaic and ceramic in his own personal language, from which emerges a fresh style of voluptuous vases. The pieces transcend the genre of manufactured decorative objects to become works of art, in different shapes, sizes and colours.

This unique collection of fifteen vases comprises striking black and white ceramic pieces, which enhance the texture and allure of the gold and glass mosaic.

The work is limited edition, but the showroom will be taking orders for this collection during London Design Festival.

The collaboration with Jaime Hayon, a young but already well known emerging star on the international scene, confirms the continuous commitment of Bisazza to work with the most inventive and talented personalities in the design world.
