Make Christmas truly special with woop studios’ magical collections

Unique Christmas gift ideas aplenty from graphic arts collective WOOP Studios: perfect for adults and children alike, animal and bird enthusiasts and lovers of the English language.

For Christmas 2011, Woop has created a charming series of limited edition prints based on festive collective nouns.

From ‘A Herd of Reindeer’ to ‘A Drift of Snow’ and ‘A Constellation of stars’ encompassing the full set of Zodiac signs. The prints are sure to make the holiday season - and beyond - sparkle.

Due to popular demand, Woop has also recently issued 2 posters - an A-Z of collective term and an A-Z of collective nouns found in the animal kingdom. A lovely educational and decorative gift to brighten up a children’s room or nursery - or any room in the house for all to enjoy.

WOOP Studios is a collective of four friends united by a love of graphic design, words, and images. Miraphora Mina, Eduardo Lima, Harriet Logan, and Mark Faulkner founded Woop Studios in 2010 to bring a unique and exciting angle to the fascinating world of collective nouns.

Their first initiative was to launch an online gallery of limited edition prints. A Zeal of Zebras is the latest step in their journey.

Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima have spent the last decade working together as graphic designers on the Harry Potter film franchise.

Harriet Logan is an award-winning photographer with extensive editorial and advertising experience. Mark Faulkner is the founder and head of innovation at Data Explorers and it is his obsession with collective nouns that inspired this project.
