French architects Dumazer & Lafallisse have converted a former gallery in Paris into an optician's.
Walls lined with wood contain recessed display shelves plus storage drawers and cupboards.
Mirrors in different shapes and sizes decorate the wall opposite.
We've never featured an opticians or spectacle shop on Dezeen before, but we've featured plenty of unusual pairs of glasses. See them all here.

The place is a former art gallery. The architectural concept is an echo to the original purpose of the space. It exhibits and highlights the glasses for sale as if they were works of art.
We have designed a piece of furniture using light-coloured wood. It stretches and follows the curves of the wall in order to create exhibition areas with an eye-catching setting visible from the shop window.
This organisation lets the customers move about smoothly and arouses their curiosity thanks to the visual and physical impact. Niches included in this construction are lit and displayed like canvasses showing the glasses which vary in shapes and colours with the seasons.
On the opposite wall there is a collection of antique mirrors which reminds us of a mirror gallery which is used by the consumers to look at themselves.
