Dezeen promotion: the A' Design Award is now accepting architecture, interior and design project submissions for this year's competition.

The awards are judged by a jury of 30 academics and professionals and are presented to concepts, prototypes and finished products in 40 categories - read the full list of categories here.

Winners will receive extensive PR coverage across a wide range of media platforms, publication in a yearbook, designs exhibited in a dedicated gallery space and an A' Award trophy.

The award ceremony will take place during a gala night at Lake Como in Italy.

The deadline for applications 30 September 2012 and winners will be announced 15 April 2013.
