Competition: tickets to New Designers 2014 award previews to be won

Competition: Dezeen is giving readers the chance to win one of five pairs of tickets to the award previews for the 2014 New Designers graduate exhibition this summer.

Congratulations to the winners!  Adam King, Natasha Lofthouse, Agata Murasko, Nazli Gokce Terzioglu and Andrew Lightfoot.

New Designers is a two-part exhibition of emerging design, which showcases work by 3,000 UK university graduates. Part one will run from 26 to 28 June and part two will take place from 3 to 5 July.

Now in its 29th year, the show will take place over two weeks at Business Design Centre, 52 Upper Street, Islington, London N1 0QH.

Obtineo Storage Jars Tom by Hutchinson

Both parts of the exhibition will launch with an awards preview evening, where 25 designers will receive prizes for their graduate projects. Accolades will be given in categories ranging from product design and visual communications to motion arts, and fashion and accessories.

Jewellery designer Alex Monroe will present the awards at New Designers Part One on 25 June, while designer John Sorrell will do the same for Part Two on 2 July.

Leaf Print Wallpaper by Natalie Ratcliffe

One of the main features at New Designers is One Year On, which showcases 50 up-and-coming designers from all disciplines in their first year of business. Images show some of this year’s exhibitors.

Gemma Fabbri — founder of London design studio Scene and co-founder of FAO-shop.com — will act as lead curator for One Year On 2014.

Winners of tickets to the exhibition preview and awards will be granted entry from 6.30-9pm on either Wednesday 25 June or Wednesday 2 July.

Tickets are on sale now from the New Designers website.

This competition is now closed. Five winners will be selected at random and notified by email. Winners' names will be published in a future edition of our Dezeen Mail newsletter and at the top of this page. Dezeen competitions are international and entries are accepted from readers in any country.

New Designers is the UK's most important exhibition for emerging design. Split into two parts, the event showcases over 3000 of the year's most talented, forward-thinking design graduates from the UK's leading universities.

Each part kicks off with a prestigious awards preview evening, which sees the presentation of 25 industry sponsored awards to the show’s most promising emerging designers — ones to watch in the future. Award sponsors this year include John Lewis, Procter & Gamble, Sky, Mars and the BCFA.

Jewellery designer Alex Monroe will present the awards in part one and Sir John Sorrell in part two.
