Call for entries to PeruDesignNet's Ideas Competition

Dezeen promotion: proposals are now being accepted for PeruDesignNet's Ideas Competition, with a chance to win a place at the international creative event in Lima commencing in September.

Aiming to bring together individuals, universities, companies and professionals from all over the world, PeruDesignNet is a newly established project that hopes to turn the country into an example of progress through the use of design.

The Ideas Competition is the first stage in the selection process for the PeruDesignNet week.

The programme, based in Lima, allows individuals to work alongside participating businesses to develop the ideas they submit.

As part of their application, individuals are asked to design solutions for challenges relating to Peruvian culture – choosing from a selection of briefs categorised into crafts, tourism and gastronomy.

After the deadline on the 17 June, entries will be narrowed down to 120 and announced on the 25 June. Online voters will then choose six of the 42 finalists, with a jury determining the rest.
