3D Modelling and Digital Sculpting at My ArchiSchool

The 3D Modelling and Digital Sculpting course at My ArchiSchool teaches students to develop accurate 3D models of buildings with curved surfaces.

Students will learn how to build precise architectural models with 3D curved surfaces to produce basic architectural drawings with accurate dimensions and details. A brief introduction to parametric architectural design will be covered.

This course will be available and open for enrolment throughout the year. The course is made up of 16 sessions of 1.5-hour classes. The course is suitable for students aged 12 to 18 years old or above.

What will I learn during this course?

– Design and create characters by hand sketching to visualise ideas
– Basic modelling with Sketchup will be introduced, and it will be followed by organic sculpting software like Zbrush for making the digital model of the character designed
– How to turn their digital character into 3D printable files

What are the requirements?

– Students aged 6 to 18 years old or above
– Beginners are welcome

– SLA 3D printer of FormLab 3L
