Spatial Design – Architecture, Design and Interiors at the Royal Danish Academy
The Spatial Design – Architecture, Design and Interiors course at the Royal Danish Academy supports students in developing analytical and conceptual skills in spatial design.
Spatial Design – Architecture, Design and Interiors is a two-year master's programme for both architects and designers.
Spatial Design is a dynamic interdisciplinary practice, one that refuses to settle as simply architecture, interior design or exhibition design.
In the programme, the students engage with the spatiality of the built environment, developing skills in analysing and conceptualising new spatial situations between the human and architectural scales.
The programme is taught at the Royal Danish Academy, the leading academy in Scandinavia in the fields of architecture, design and conservation.
Throughout the course, students engage with urgent issues, such as spatial inclusion and the transition to more sustainable dwelling practices.
