Strategic Design and Entrepreneurship at the Royal Danish Academy

Strategic Design and Entrepreneurship at the Royal Danish Academy encourages a collaborative practice between architects and designers, informing their individual practices.

Strategic Design and Entrepreneurship is an interdisciplinary and collaborative Master's programme, developed and conducted in collaboration with Copenhagen Business School.

This programme is for architects and designers who would like to be challenged by interdisciplinary collaborative processes, global challenges and engagement with industrial partners.

The programme is built upon the understanding that no one can solve complex challenges on their own, and that the future is in need of architects and designers who can navigate and create change through a deeper understanding of the strategic aspects of design and architecture.

Architects and designers who enter the programme through the Royal Danish Academy, Scandinavia's leading academy within architecture and design, will graduate as Master of Arts in either Architecture or Design.

The entire programme is structured around project-based modules where you get to work with actual companies and organisations and real-world challenges, in collaboration with students of social science from Copenhagen Business School/CBS.

The programme is specifically directed at facilitating the exchange of knowledge between design, architecture and management into fruitful and constructive meetings through design thinking methods for innovation and entrepreneurship.

This course is for students who wish to forge their own path and creative career within architecture and design.
