Rural Design Week returns in 2026, celebrating eco-focused design that supports communities and culture, as well as the environment.

The festival hosts a programme of installations, workshops, talks, screenings and tours seeking to regenerate Morcone, a municipality in the Tammaro Valley in Italy.

This year's edition follows the theme Rural Metabolism, focusing on the maintenance of rural and mountainous ecosystems.

The open call for the festival invites submissions from artists, designers, architects and researchers until 8 March 2026.

Rural Design Week 2026 takes place from 27 April to 3 May 2026 at various locations across Morcone, Italy.
