Japanese fashion house Issey Miyake presents The Paper Log: Shell and Core at its Milan store, a collaborative project with Ensamble Studio.

The exhibition includes objects by Ensamble Studio, which the house refers to as "Shell", and furniture prototypes by the in-house project team, known in the exhibition as "Core".

The installation is derived from contrasting approaches to reappropriating compressed rolls of paper, the byproduct of the house's pleated garments.

The Paper Log: Shell and Core takes place during Milan design week 2026.
