London Design Festival 2011

During a live performance to music, designer Paul Cocksedge will be transforming old vinyl LPs into elegant vinyl speakers that amplify sound from smartphones through their shape alone – no need for wires or electricity. Old LPs gathering dust are given new life – and the music lives on!

Visitors are encouraged to bring their own 12” record to see it transformed into a unique object. Speakers will be available to buy at the event at £25, a special introductory price during the festival.

Between 8-9pm VIPs will have the opportunity to buy the record speaker at a special price of £20.00.

This event is in collaboration with Dezeen and forms part of the London Design Festival, 17th – 25th September 2011.
