3D Printing Your Own Architectural Model Workshop at My ArchiSchool

The 3D Printing Your Own Architectural Model Workshop course at My ArchiSchool teaches students how to turn their digital architectural designs into 3D-printed models.

School: My Archischool
Course: 3D Printing Your Own Architectural Model (Large Format) Workshop
Location: Hong Kong, China
Course dates: April 2023 to December 2023
Application deadline: 31 December 2023

Students will 3D-print a large-format model of their own digital architectural design using My ArchiSchool's in-house SLA 3D printer.

Past projects include 3D prints of digital models created by students as part of the My Teahouse or My future home assignments.

Learning different technology for the materialisation of architecture is the major learning target for this workshop.

Students will learn how to prepare their digital 3D model to create a printable model of .stl or .obj formats using Stereolithography (SLA) 3D printing or resin 3D printing to build an accurate 3D model.

The course is suitable for students ages 11 to 18 years old or above who have completed the Premium Portfolio Programs and Exhibition Programs of level 3 or above.

The course is open for enrollment throughout the year. Each workshop will take four classes or 1.5 hours.

Applications to this course have now closed.
