YACademy's Architecture for Heritage course collects the most relevant international experience in the field of architecture devoted to heritage.

The course offers five scholarships with full coverage of the enrolment cost for the most deserving students. It is also possible to participate in the course remotely.

With a frequency of three days per week for a duration of two months, Architecture for Heritage hosts several frontal teaching modules and numerous interventions by well-known professionals working at world-renowned companies, including Herzog & De Meuron, Aires Mateus, David Chipperfield, EMBT, OMA and Grafton Architects.

The course workshop will be held under the tutorship of McCullough Mulvin Architects and will concern the design of a visitor centre in the ruins of Athassel Priory, a Norman monastic complex listed among the most iconic ruins in Ireland.

At the end of the course, YACademy Placement office will guarantee each student a proposal for an internship or collaboration with studios that align with the topic of the course, including Herzog & De Meuron, Aries Mateus, Grafton Architects, Barozzi Veiga, David Chipperfield Archiects Milano, EMBT and MVRDV.
