The Architecture for Landscape course at YACademy prepares students with design knowledge to create architecture that responds to the natural environment.
YACademy's Architecture for Landscape course collects the most relevant international experience in the field of architecture devoted to the landscape.
The course offers five scholarships with full coverage of the enrolment cost for the most deserving students. It is also possible to participate in the course remotely.
With a frequency of three days per week for a duration of two months, Architecture for Landscape hosts several frontal teaching modules and numerous interventions by well-known professionals working at world-renowned companies, including Dorte Mandrup, SANAA, Souto De Moura, Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Heatherwick Studio and Snøhetta.
The course workshop, conducted under the tutorship of SANAA and carried out in collaboration with WWF, will involve designing an architectural system aimed at enhancing visitor experience at Bussento Caves, one of the most fascinating and rich natural compendiums in biodiversity in Italy.
At the end of the course, YACademy Placement office will guarantee each student a proposal for an internship or collaboration with studios that align with the topic of the course, including SANAA, Heatherwick Studio, Snøhetta, AMDL CIRCLE, Mario Cucinella Architects, Diller Scofidio + Renfro and Jensen & Skodvin Architects.
