Fashion MA at The Royal College of Art

The Fashion MA course at The Royal College of Art supports students in developing a critical approach to fashion design, leading to new aesthetics.

Join a master's programme looking to reform the dominant fashion paradigm. This programme creates an environment where to shift the focus from only making clothes to concerning ourselves with the environment, social responsibility and geopolitical and economic challenges.

On this MA, fashion is designed, articulated, manipulated and stimulated in both physical and digital spaces. It aims for a state of change, where students are open to new, emerging thinking, as well as to unlearning.

Students will have the opportunity to reflect on, discuss and strengthen their authentic identity and help others do the same. Modules for the Fashion MA include change agent, change perspective, the grand challenge, advanced practice and an independent research project.

Modules include Change Agent, Change Perspective, Advanced Practice, Grand Challenge, AcrossRCA and Independent Research Project.
