MArch in Designing Architecture at London School of Architecture

The MArch in Designing Architecture course at the London School of Architecture (LSA) prepares students for architectural employment with work placement opportunities alongside their first year of study.

School: London School of Architecture (LSA)
Course: MArch in Designing Architecture
Location: London, UK
Course dates: September 2023 to June 2025
Application deadline: 31 March 2022, late applications open on a rolling basis

The LSA's MArch in Designing Architecture is a two-year RIBA Part II accredited programme of study comprising ten modules.

In the first year, all students undertake a three-day-a-week practice placement alongside their study. This 'earn while you learn' model has meant that 100 per cent of our graduates have found employment after graduating.

Our innovative academic programme brings our students into close contact with issues occurring in practice today.

The course includes Design Think Tanks, which are collaborative research projects between students and practices.

Critical Practice involves producing a manual reflecting on trends in practice today as well as a manifesto for the practitioner you wish to become.

We have a thriving professional programme that students have access to, including lectures, workshops, roundtables and our online Citizen platform.

We use the city as our campus, with teaching and learning happening across our Practice Network and at our studio in Haggerston, East London.

Applications to this course have now closed.
