The Net Zero and Circular Design course has been specifically designed to upskill professionals in the topics of sustainability, climate change, net zero and whole life carbon, circularity, life cycle thinking and value measurement within the built environment.

The course is delivered online via Zoom and is split into three modules: Sustainability, Whole Life Carbon and Net Zero, Circularity, and In Practice and Process.

In this live course, students will learn about the definition of sustainability with explanation and exploration around the terms net zero, WLC, EPDs, science-based targets, etc.

Students will also learn what circular design is and how it relates to low-carbon design.

With practical demonstration of designing and delivering projects to WLC and circularity targets, the course covers training on WLC and circularity measurement tools.

The course includes a review of scenarios and real life examples, with a workshop exploring delegates' own projects.

Your tutors for this session will be Elina Grigoriou and Amy Bettison, who have decades of experience within the fields of sustainability, net zero and whole life carbon specifically related to the built environment.
